When I turned on the device, I could not walk up and down the menu, as I tried in vain to use the arrow keys, which I used to press the TV remote control. I was disappointed beyond measure. After an hour or so I discovered the secret of scrolling up and down the menu only by an accident. You have to brush your finger in a circular motion around the wheel! Clockwisescroll down and counterclockwise to move the menu! Eureka! I felt elated. The button at the top of the iPod, which I assumed was the ON-OFF button did nothing of the sort. It was a slide switch on the iPod in the unlikely event if they do not hang and no longer works will be reset. Soon I became an expert. Press Menu to return an image at a time and pull ring with the thumb on the wheel to select the menu and press the central button to move to the next screen.

On the whole, I am glad I bought the iPod Nano. It will be my companion in my pocket wherever I go. I have my fear and the small scalesI had an aversion for the Apple product. Kudos to Apple Inc. for being here with a fantastic practical and useful product for the consumer music lovers!
